On the occasion of the 42nd edition of European Heritage Days (20 and 21 September 2025), Notre-Dame de Paris is welcoming visitors in a unique way.
Special opening hours for the cathedral
For Heritage Days, the cathedral will extend its opening hours:
Saturday, 20 September 2025: 8:15 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, 21 September 2025: 8:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Rediscover Notre-Dame de Paris during Heritage Days
Notre-Dame de Paris is a symbol of French historical heritage, open to the public free of charge. Come and experience a blend of history, contemplation and spiritual beauty.
- Interactive information terminals: thanks to augmented reality, immerse yourself in over 850 years of history and relive the epic story of the cathedral.
- Welcome by volunteers (CASA, Accueil Jeunes and the welcome teams) available between celebrations to answer visitors’ questions.
- For children, a specially designed leaflet with a map of the Cathedral to help them on their visit and a colouring-in sheet will be distributed.
