For more than 860 years, Notre-Dame de Paris has welcomed visitors to engage in prayer and celebrate the glory of God. Through its history, Notre-Dame de Paris has also become one of the most visited monuments in the world.

Rules for an Enjoyable Visit:
To make the most of your visit, we kindly ask you to

  • Refrain from using your phone inside the cathedral.
  • Avoid consuming food or drinks.
  • Refrain from bringing scooters, suitcases, backpacks, or bulky items.

Recently restored for everyone’s delight, the cathedral and its interior arrangements offer a unique rediscovery of this spiritual landmark. Our team is here to guide you through this exceptional experience.

You can also join during week days, at 2:30 pm a daily free visit of the cathedral which highlights its spiritual mission beyond the historical and artistic aspects. This visit is conducted by volunteers from the CASA Notre-Dame Non Profit group and is limited to 20 attendees.

The meeting point is : rue du cloître Notre-Dame, at the corner of rue d’Arcole, next to the North tower (left on the forecourt)

Audioguides

Audioguides are available for hire at reception (€6), enabling visitors to tour the cathedral independently, in French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian.
Magnetic loops are available for the hearing-impaired with the audioguide rental.
