Launch of the official stamp of the 850 years

Saturday 19th january 2013

In order to comemorate the 850 years of the cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, two special stamps, highlighting two stained-glass windows of the cathedral, will be produced by the philatelic department of La Poste during the year 2013. The medallion of the west rose representing the Virgin and the Child, symbole of the cathedrale, and a detail of this same rose, presenting the month of July, in the image of the harvest.

The stamps will be sold in preview, with a special mention "First Day", the saturday 19th january from 2 pm to 6 pm, and sunday 20th january from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM.
