On November the 1st, Catholics celebrate all the saints, known and unknown. All Saints’ Day expresses joy and Christian hope : it reminds everyone that he is personally called to holiness, like the saints celebrated this day. Their holiness is not the perfection of a moral code but perfect love for God and neighbor, love can transform the world and existence. This holiness is not the privilege of a few but the vocation of all.
Together, let us rejoice in the Lord, celebrating this feast day in honor of all the saints.
The angels rejoice with us in this feast ; they glorify the Son of God.

Friday 2nd of NOVEMBER 2012 : Commemoration of all the deceased faithfuls.
Every year, on November 2nd, the Catholic Church puts all dead at the heart of his prayer. This feast day is both a day of remembrance and a day of intercession. Prayer for the dead belongs to the most ancient Christian tradition. It is therefore natural that after the feast of who entered the sacred intimacy of God, our concern goes towards our brothers who died in the hope of resurrection and it also embraces “all dead which only the Lord knows the faith”.
