





























Since 2004, Johann Vexo has been substitute organist for the Choir Organ of Notre-Dame de Paris
Born in 1978 in Nancy, he studied organ with Christophe Mantoux, historical music with Martin Gester and harpsichord with Aline Zylberajch at the Conservatoire National de Région de Strasbourg, where he was awarded first organ prize.
After being admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he perfected his studies with Michel Bouvard and Olivier Latry, and won their first organ prize, their first basso continuo prize and the Diplôme de Formation Supérieure. In parallel, he took writing classes, winning the harmony and counterpoint prizes.
In 2004, Johann Vexo was granted the position of substitute organist for the Choir Organ of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris. He holds the Aptitude Certificate and teaches organ at the Conservatoire National de Région d’Angers. He also performs many concerts, both in France and abroad.
